Okay, kid, this is where it gets complicated...

I ramble, and I'll answer if you ask.

Note: If you ever reblog a post that I wrote on here just because it seems to apply to you, no matter how generic it seems to be, I will be pissed. Don't do that. Write your own damn posts. Still confused? Read this.

i did you survey :)) may i ask how you're gonna turn the results into a project?

THAT’S A GOOD QUESTION… right now, my plan is to compare people who say they got an extensive, sufficient education to the people who say they were fed lies/abstinence-only material and see how their answers vary when it comes to making decisions and how much they feel they know. I have about a month to do this so it’s a work in progress but I definitely feel like the questions I’m asking will give me more than enough information to work with, so I will definitely have SOMETHING. I’m also tying in other research and studies that have been done regarding this and just seeing how it compares. It should be cool.

You should add 'Canada' as an option on the second last question.

I don’t want to go back and change anything but I left the “other” space open for anyone who lives outside of the US.

Hey. I just wanted to tell you that taking your survey was really interesting because I'd never really thought about the sex ed we have in schools where I live as that lacking, because I just went and got the information I didn't know online.

I feel the same way. I got most of my information from American Girl books (The Care And Keeping Of You, anyone?) and kidshealth.org. I think I learned a decent amount about birth control and STDs, but now that I have learned what it could have been like, then I think I could have learned a lot more in school rather than on my own. I’m content with it, though. It’s just weird. I wish we’d covered rape and healthy/unhealthy relationships. I think for most people it was just a unit in health class but I think it should be an actual class, for at least a quarter.

THERE WE GO. now I can see 1000 responses with no issues.

I’m hoping for lots and lots of responses

but I really need more boys to take it

and I need Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont and West Virginia

but really anyone works :)

oh nevermind :) I found it. I just have to pay $24 and I can get up to 1000 responses!

blueberrywanderlust replied to your post: …I got over 100 responses and now the only way I…

how much does premium cost?

LIKE $200 BECAUSE YOU CAN’T PAY BY THE MONTH WHICH IN THAT CASE IT’D BE LIKE $17

I’M SO MAD

…I got over 100 responses and now the only way I can see ALL of them is if I get a premium account and you can’t pay by the month so I can’t see them

and I know I can work with 100 responses just fine

but there were some states that I don’t have answers from and I don’t know, I just wanted to get as many as I can

I just sdlfkjdslkfj I WISH THERE WAS A WAY TO SEE ALL OF THEM I’M SO UPSET

what was your sexual education course like?

I think it was actually okay, we talked about different methods of birth control and STDs and abstinence was only an option, nothing was forced. I had it in 5th grade where they divided the boys and girls and talked about reproduction, 8th grade where we learned about STDs and birth control and 10th grade we learned about STDs and birth control again. Although, I wish they would have expanded more on healthy relationships and what to do if you’re unexpectedly pregnant with no intentions of staying pregnant, because I don’t think we learned anything about emergency contraceptives.
