Are you kidding me? You did not really think this through. There’s no actual cure for Alzheimer’s, is there? Do you think that we should just stop diagnosing folks with it because it’s just part of them, and ignore the problem all together? Obviously fucking not. It’s the same thing. Personality disorders don’t have a definite cure but they exist. And sometimes different methods work for some people and not for others. Cognitive behavioral therapy can help a lot of people’s misophonia and OCD but I don’t personally think it would help me. And by me “”“”diagnosing”“”” myself, I’m finding out more about it and how to make things easier for myself. Are there aspects of your personality that you don’t like? Probably not, or else you would change them. This is a dumb message.
