1. I don’t know why I’m making this post, it’s just something I’m thinking about. From April 11th.

I love visiting beautiful houses with perfect design. My sister’s fiance’s stepmother, Abby, has two amazing houses and I just want to go back to both of them and take as many pictures as I can. I’ve photographed some of her New York City home, but I lost one of the negative strips. It wasn’t much. I think that apartment is estimated at 4.2 million dollars. I could be so wrong, but I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s four stories tall, with amazing furniture. Her husband, before he died, was a very popular author. Both houses are filled with books. In her upstate house, there are so many typewriters. I want one.

    Her kitchen is beautiful.

It’s so perfectly organized and it’s the perfect size and I just want to bake pies and cookies in it. Even the dinner table was gorgeous. After we ate.

God, even the remainder of the apple pie looked gorgeous.

    The centerpiece, everything.

    Everything is just beautiful.

She has two cats. One was very old.

This is the old one. I forgot her name. She seemed very lethargic and didn’t want to move much and she let me hang out with her on this super pretty couch.

This is the older one. I don’t think she has a name. She climbed all over me.

Abby is apparently a really popular gardener, too. She’s been featured in magazines and whatnot.

I guess I’m just thinking about it because I’m starting to appreciate interior design more, and I’m trying to find my photography focus. Obviously these pictures aren’t that great. I just want to go back and take so many pictures, especially with my N90. I need to upload my pictures from her NYC house soon. They’re all on the computer at school. There’s also about half a roll of film left in my camera and I don’t know why I’ve been procrastinating on going through it. There could be some really good pictures from Abby’s on it. I just really like going to her houses, even though I’ve only been to each one once, because it’s so fresh, the way the sunlight hits every inch of it surprises me because it’s so beautiful. It’s perfect. I want that in my life.
