Every piece of matter in the universe has a purpose, no matter what it is. Little tiny grains of sand make up a beach. Hundreds of pairs of hands clapping together make up an applause. Billions of pages create a library. Everything is a piece of an even bigger piece. These pills have a purpose, the snow has a purpose, a chirping cardinal has a purpose, and most importantly, my love, you have a purpose. There is no such thing as useless. You could say that taking one pinch of sand away from a beach doesn’t make it any less of a beach. You could say that taking one page out of a book out of the thousands on the shelves doesn’t make a library any less of a library. One person who isn’t clapping in a huge crowd doesn’t make the applause any quieter. But what if you kept on taking the sand away? What if all the pages were ripped out of every book? What happens when less and less people clap? What then?
